COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMICS [CFD]
Computational fluid dynamics deals with analysis of fluid flow turbulence, heat transfer and reactions for industrial applications. CFD is applied to a wide range of research and engineering problems in many fields of study and industries including aerodynamics and aerospace analysis, weather simulation, natural science and environmental engineering, industrial system design and analysis, biomedical engineering and engine combustion analysis.
These ranges from airflow over an automotive to combustion in a furnace, from bubble columns to oil platforms, from blood flow to hydro turbine flow and from clean room design to HVAC integrated room design and also aero-acoustics, turbo machinery and multi-phase systems
WHAT WE DO?
PIPE FLOW ANALYSIS
Pipe flow analysis deals with the analysis of flow inside a pipe. It covers the analysis of stresses acting on the pipe due to the pressure inside the pipe.
Automotive aerodynamics is the study of the aerodynamics of road vehicles. It covers air flow analysis over an automotive to determine the aerodynamic forces such as drag, lift and side forces.
NOZZLE & DIFFUSER FLOW ANALYSIS
It covers the analysis flow through diffuser and nozzle. Nozzle is a device that is used to increase the velocity whereas diffuser is used to increase the pressure.
HYDRO TURBINE ANALYSIS
It deals with the analysis of hydro effects acting on hydro turbines.
MULTIPHASE FLOW ANALYSIS
The multiphase fluid flow analysis could be used to simulate the flow of a mixture of fluids and their interactions.
WATER HAMMER ANALYSIS
Water hammer analysis covers the analysis of impact of water flow which is caused due to the sudden shuttering of valves.
WIND TURBINE ANALYSIS
It covers the air flow analysis over a turbine. It deals with the aerodynamic aspect turbine blade designs and analysis of forces acting on wind turbine blades.
Aircraft aerodynamic analysis deals with the analysis of different aerodynamic forces acting on the aircraft. It also covers the air flow topology over an aircraft.
THERMAL FLOW ANALYSIS
Thermal flow analysis deals with flow analysis of flow in which temperature effects are taken into account.
HVAC FLOW ANALYSIS
It covers the analysis of air flow inside buildings and industries.
If a fluid flow contains solid particles, then erosion of the walls bounding that flow may occur.It analyses the impact of solid particles acting on the walls of pipes.
FLUID STRUCTURE INTERACTION ANALYSIS
It covers the air flow analysis over high raised buildings. It analyses interaction of air flow and the forces acting on the structures because of it.
